Hold at a 45 degree angle, pointing the wax tip towards the flame, over a large fireproof bowl. Extinguish the flame when the wax and botanical coating has burnt through to enjoy the palo santo smoke. Move the smoke in to each and every corner of your space, stating your intentions. This can be reignited multiple times. The burning glow will end on it's own unless you blow on the embers to keep it going.
Expect the initial flame to be quite large so caution and respect are advised; please don't leave it unattended and keep away from children and animals.
